Role Summary/Purpose

The Associate - On Site Services - Crew Leader is responsible for providing the customer with on-site and off-site technical assistance, promoting overall customer satisfaction and providing Engineering and Product Development feedback by performing duties related to GE Grid Solutions Services Business.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Associate - On Site Services - Crew Leader, you will:

·  Perform trouble-shooting, testing, repair and maintenance on various high voltage equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and switch-gears at customer sites
·  Perform and interpret test results, such as: Megger, TTR, Doble Power Factor Testing, SFRA, Winding resistance, CT Testing
·  Effectively communicate directly with customers to ensure excellent customer service
·  Perform duties within the estimated time and budget planned for the project
·  Properly record activities of work performed in the field, parts shipped, etc.
·  Maintain corporate image in all service situations
·  Continue training to expand knowledge of GE products
·  Conduct onsite investigation of equipment performance to determine cause or contributing factors
·  Prepare detailed written visit reports

·  Provide Leadership to Field Technicians that perform services / installation and commissioning
·  Manage and execute AIS field service activities and conduct different level of service from trouble shooting to overhauling and upgrade of power transformers
·  Manage site with assigned workers to execute the work within the required time
·  Prepare customer site activity reports capturing all activities performed after each mission

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Associate's Degree in Electrical Maintenance or related technological field from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience)
·  Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·  Ability and willingness to obtain / maintain a valid Driver's license

·  Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis (100% of the time), often on short notice
·  Ability and willingness to work safely in an energized high voltage substation environment
·  Ability and willingness to stand, sit, crawl, squat, kneel, twist, bend and reach above the shoulders as required to perform essential job functions
Desired Characteristics

·  High Voltage Switchgear and/or Transformer work experience
·  Testing experience on High Voltage equipment
·  Strong interpersonal communication skills used to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors
·  Computer skills necessary to communicate test reports to office and customer
·  Leadership experience
·  CDL license
