Role Summary/Purpose

ASEAN Services Field Power and Grounding Leader will develop the ASEAN wide strategy to eliminate power quality and grounding related failures for the improvement of equipment performance. He/she will work closely with region power quality and grounding leaders and with global counterparts.
Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include: 
• Supporting HQ Service Operation Team to develop ASEAN wide power & grounding strategy 
• Establishing the required processes and key metrics to monitor performance and VCP outcomes  
• Acting as the focal point for escalation support of regional power and grounding leaders 
• Acting as power and grounding training resource to enhance the local Champions’s & Field Engineer’s ability to properly identify and address power quality issues 
• Presenting Power Quality, Inspector and UPS seminars during regular meetings held in the region 
• Performing pro-active pre-installation P&G audits before installation of equipment. 
• Performing re-active P&G audits of installed base equipment identified to have customer satisfaction issues, high parts usage, image quality issues, and/or low uptime.
• Working with HPM and tool vendors to plan permanent tool installations and address power quality issues during pre-installation planning and assure planned power meets GE specifications prior to equipment install. 
• Monitoring regional audit completions for installs, reactive audits and ensuring that local teams are providing follow-up to customers where issues have been identified
• Being an active participant in discussions with customers about the sale of UPS and other power quality options. 

•Working with power monitoring vendors for the tool purchasing, technical escalations, data sheet updates, firmware updates and all related technical and administrative follow up actions. 
•Working with certified electricians to supervise temporary and permanent power monitoring tool installations and supervising them accordingly. Creating SOPs and guidlines for electricians and field teams to ensure a well documented scope of work within accepted EHS guidelines.
•Calculating P&G audits for installation and IB regularly and communicating to leadership and country teams as proof of the concept while documenting the benefits of the program for both business and customer experience.
•Working with cross functional teams to increase awareness, show the program benefits, promote the montirong tools as unique competitive advantage.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance trainings within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
5. Comply with the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policies and applicable laws and regulations. Complete all mandatory EHS training. Actively participate in accident & incident investigation and follow up. Maintain defined levels of housekeeping & ensure a clean, clear workplace and participate in EHS inspections. Identify and correct hazards and unsafe conditions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering
2. 2 years of field experience with Diagnostic Imaging equipment and its applications
3. 2 years of field experience in power and grounding process, tools and applications
4. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
5. Effective decision-making capabilities
6. Ability to manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction, and contractual commitments
7. Ability to make formal presentations (internal and external)
Desired Characteristics

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certified Power Quality Professional, Professional Engineer License or equivalent
2. Green Belt certified or familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills
