We are seeking for a motivated individual with good knowledge of Broadcast technologies,
including Skype Meeting Broadcast and Teams Live Events and Skype, Teams as well as other
video conferencing solutions such as Cisco Telepresence and Microsoft Teams Rooms to support
events held by GE business senior executive leaders
You as a “Application Operations Engineer- WG Support” will be focused on the essential support
operations of Skype/SRS/TP/Broadcast meetings and to ensure minimum disruption by providing
world class White Glove Support service around the globe.
•Identify Telepresence / Skype Room System / Skype Meeting/ Broadcast related issues
•Execute Troubleshoot steps and drive problem resolution while meeting SLAs
•Post-meeting intervention and run RCA / issue postmortem analysis
•Coach VIP support teams how to host numerous high importance meetings
•Identify reoccurring incidents and lead the problem management
•Identify business training needs, prepare necessary training materials and deliver the
•Collaborate with L2, L3 and UC product leaders.
•Drive engagement across different teams and contributing groups, examples include network
team, voice team, operations
•Preparation and communication of accurate status reporting.
•Take ownership during incident situations and engage with all contributing teams to ensure
shortest resolution time.
•Establish incident tracking and reporting process, ensuring that incidents are addressed in a
•Overall ownership for incident management and closure.
•Must be willing to start at 7:00am local time
•Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, MIS,
Engineering or similar discipline.
•1 years or more equivalent work-related experience.
•Working knowledge of Telepresence, Microsoft Skype for Business, SIP environment
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
•Self-confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities and experience in communication
with senior executive leaders.
•Ability to build relationships and credibility
•Ability to influence and make recommendations to all levels
•Ability to work well in a dynamic fast paced team environment
•Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
