Role Summary/Purpose

Primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by delivery and analysis of metrics to track and manage the team’s applications and services. S/he will be responsible to ensure our applications portfolio is fully up to date in ServiceNow (CMDB) and drive execution of risk and compliance requirements across the regions. S/he will also have responsibility for some applications in Europe and EGM.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission.

·  Proactively identify and resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.

·  Establishes governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.

·  Tracks and monitors applications status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal delivery commitments are met.

·  Ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives
Qualifications/Requirements

·  A technical engineer, with extensive experience in solving challenging issues in high pressure environment

·  Experienced with agile/iterative project methodology such as Scrum, preferably with experience using agile project management tools such as JIRA or Rally

·  Excellent communicator, works well in a team environment, and welcomes challenges

·  Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment

·  Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics

·  Background and experience in emerging technologies in cloud.

·  Some experience with monitoring and logging tools: New Relic, Nustar, Sensu, Nimsoft, Splunk and Logstash
