Role Summary/Purpose

Support growth, development and implementation of all LM product lines in region.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide controls technical support/resolution for LMS100, LM6000, LM5000, and LM2500 fleet issues with global Aero engineering community.
• Lead and program manage Aero Event analysis activities for product technical issues.
• Interface with Aero Engineering HQ, providing technical leadership to personnel supporting project assigned to resolve customer technical issue.
• Prepare technical presentations for GE Leaders and Customers ensuring the timely communication of significant issues or developments.
• Travel to customer locations to 1) support customer technical review meetings and present recommendations to champion GE's commitment technical solution 2) support unplanned/forced outages to meet availability goals 3) provide commercial teams with technical support for sales and services proposal activities.
• Energize and support customer problem resolution through preparation and delivery of
PCB technical documents.
• Mentor and train all China Product Service Engineering team members on Aero Control systems.
• Oversee technical Installation & Commissioning activities.
• Ensuring timely and accurate customer(Int & Ext) support via use of Servicenow, Email etc other communication channels.
• Develop Mapping and troubleshooting documents/protocols for field support personnel.

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS degree or above in a technical discipline (Controls or EE).
• Actual experiences and knowledge of MK-V, MK-VIe and or Woodward MicroNet for LM package control
• Experience and knowledge on DLE control technology
• Minimum of 3 years of gas turbine or aviation technology experience.
• Demonstrated ability to represent GE in customer communications.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional team.
• Functional knowledge of Gas turbine operation
• Willing to work off hours and weekends to support emergency issue resolution
