Role Summary/Purpose

Provide technical leadership for the production team. Responsibilities include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, additive manufacturing and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. Aggressively initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Drive robust product quality by identifying manufacturing issues proactively, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation of Additive Manufacturing into production 
·  Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design 
·  Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution 
·  Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand. 
·  Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation 
·  Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance 
·  Work with the facilities and maintenance teams to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand 
·  Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals 
·  Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation 
·  Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations 
·  Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas
Qualifications/Requirements

·  B.S. Degree from accredited university or college in Mechanical, Electrical, electromechanical, mechatronic or related technical degree. 
·  1 - 2 years’ experience in production, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or design.

·  CAD/CAM and 3D Software Design knowledge. 
·  Aware of GD&T 
·  M.S. Degree in Engineering or Business 
·  Co-op or internship experience in Manufacturing Engineering 
·  6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified 
·  Product and Process Development experience 
·  Experience on CNC Machining 
·  Experience working with global teams  
·  Communication skills (written and verbal) 
·  Ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity 
·  Analytical and problem-solving skills
