Trainee : DevOps Process setup

It's easy to speak of DevOps for an isolated application. But what about DevOps for complex processing platforms, involving interactions of multiple components developed by different teams?

For each component, a monolith of its own, our Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment chain covers the following steps: compilation, unit test execution, packaging, deployment to integration platform along with integration level test.

Your mission is to extend that chain to the deployment of all platform's components to a staging environment and the automatic execution of acceptance level tests.

Internship objectives:

· Study the processing platform, for which the CI/CD chain is built

· Study the state of the art tools for DevOps (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Kabana, etc)

· Advice on the architecture of the components, and the eventual split to microservices

· Setup the CI/CD chain and acceptance tests for a simplified processing platform

· Setup the CI/CD chain and acceptance tests for the complete processing platform

You will be part of the PSE Architecture team, and work along PSE's scrum teams.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

· You are in your 3 rd year through Engineering Masters degree

· You have good skills in

o system administration Linux / Windows

o network administration

o MicroServices, Docker (a plus)

o Programming languages (Java)

· You are positive and open minded

· You like team-work and are

o Well organized and rigorous

o Autonomous and curious

o Enthusiast and creative

· You master English (read/write/speak)
