Operator Printer offset

Job description

Main pressman on Heidelberg XL75 6 or 7 colors offset machine. Working together with a helper.

Printing of ID and banking cards on PVC, PET and PC materials.

Printing of visible and invisible colors, with different security features.

Weekly preventive maintenance tasks to be performed as well, and reporting of the orders and printed material to be done.

A week in the life of an offset printer

The offset printer is a key person in our production line, he is in charge of the printing of our products, printing on each machine over 3 million cards per month.

As an offset printer, you are responsible of the quality of your products and the proper reporting of your work, in the system and in the auto control forms.

You are working in close relation with your direct colleagues (helper, quality operators, supervisor) but also your colleagues from the other printing lines.

Once per week you perform preventive maintenance on your machine, in order to keep it in a proper working condition.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

You need to have experience in offset printing.

You need to be autonomous, accurate, focused and self-confident.

To do this job, you must be able to follow and respect strictly the quality and security rules

We would appreciate if you had an experience in security printing, and printing on plastic materials.

We are looking for someone with good motivation and team spirit, able to work in a high security environment in close collaboration with the rest of the team (helper, quality operator, logistics).
