Job description
As a Logistics Manager for the Manufacturing team, you will oversee the procurement, packaging, shipping, warehousing and inventory control of products that will secure the digital lives of millions of people.
A week in the life of a Logistics Manager:
· You will identify improvement opportunities in the primary functions of logistics and procurement.
· You will develop and implement strategic plans to ensure that the Operations teams meet business targets.
· You will ensure efficient material flows throughout the logistics chain by optimizing IT tools and processes.
· You will establish and implement environmental management programs.
· You will promote the defined environmental policy and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
· You will provide, recommend and initiate solutions through designated channels.
· You will ensure that operational practices are in compliance with company regulation.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· To succeed at this job, you must have : experience with Oracle ERP software, Kanban material flow, lot tracking and traceability, VMI operations and strong knowledge of IT tools and processes.
· It would be preferred if you have experience with ISO 9002 and 14000 procedures and strong knowledge of planning, materials and operations processes.
· You must be fluent in English.
· We would like someone to join our team who is a leader, analytical, a problem solver, dynamic, a strong interpersonal communicator, independent and able to work under pressure.
· You must have a Degree in Logistics or a related field.
· We are looking for someone with 5 - 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistic warehouse environment, including 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
