Job description
As a Logistics Assistant in the Logistics Security team of Singapore, you will be responsible to manage daily outgoing domestic and overseas shipment, assist in data entry transaction on shipping functions.
A week in the life of a Logistics Assistant:
· You will be required to perform primary functions which include coordinate with planners and forwarders on flight booking as well as managing shipment issue raise by Customer Service.
· You will perform ERP transaction daily to generate shipping documents, maintain the accuracy of the inventory and document filing.
· You will be responsible of day-to-day operations of specified warehouse section.
· You will conduct monthly cycle count and annual external audit
· You will participate in other special projects as specified
· You shall at all times during the employment with the company, respect and comply with the Gemalto security requirements during the performance of his/her duties
· You shall adhere to procedure which conform to the ISO9002 and ERP for all documentations
· You shall comply with established ISO 14001 environmental policy and procedures
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· To do this job, you must be PC literate and has strong shipping knowledge
· We would like someone to join our team who is a team player with dynamic personality, able to work independently and under pressure, self-motivated and has good interpersonal and communication skills
· You have to be able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
· You need to have a Secondary education or equivalent
· We would appreciate if you have knowledge in MRP / ERP / SAP or any similar system
· We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of working experience in in the warehouse environment
