Workload Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a workload automation Specialist. This role will establish and enforce standards, process, and rigor around the scheduling of all production jobs. The successful applicant must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal direction. Perform day to day support coverage to the Control-M environment

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Advanced experience with Control-M Desktop and Enterprise Manager scheduling software
·  Familiarity with Change Control
·  Creating and maintaining documentation for supported environments as well as following ITIL practices
·  Outgoing and can work in a high demand, production environment

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

·  Ability to navigate through various OS systems and execute scripts (Windows , Unix and Linux, Oracle/ SQLPlus)
·  Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and manage change request utilizing Service Now.
·  Excellent Problem Solving skills
·  Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·  Help review and provide input into the writing of shell script utilities
·  Have a firm understanding of internet concepts

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Deep Knowledge in BMC Control-M:

·  3+ years of Control-M job scheduling experience
·  3+ years of Control-M desktop and Enterprise Manager
·  Experience creating Job Templates and jobs/tasks
·  Experience in Installing and configuring Control-M agent software
·  Familiarity with Service Now, Excel, Access, Word
·  Excellent Communication and organizational Skill
·  English language skills- excellent written and verbal
·  Unix proficiency

Other Requirements:

·  Willingness to work in any shifts
·  Education: BE/BTech/MCA
·  Experience:  3-8 years’ experience in Batch Scheduling environment

Certification Requirements:

·  BMC Control-M Enterprise Manager 7.0 Scheduling
·  ITIL Foundation
