About us

 

The EY Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team combines all the experience and expertise available within EY in order to offer a complete range of value-added services and to advise on corporate transactions. For cross-border transactions, we deploy multinational teams from the international EY TAS network. The Belgian TAS team is comprised of over 70 professionals coming from various backgrounds and disciplines, such as corporate finance, private equity, trading, industry and financial audit.

 

Due to our growth, we are currently looking for talented  Transaction Data & Analytics Consultant.

 

We operate in the age of big data, posing significant opportunities and challenges for business. Within EY’s transaction analytics you will help drive fact-based decision-making and to better advice clients that are being impacted by this abundance of disruption and new data.

 

Matters will you cover:

 

Data intelligence : provide efficient analysis of data for more accurate understanding of large complex, unstructured data sets

Data visualization : enhance insights by identifying data trends and value drivers through data visualization tools and techniques.

Advanced transaction analytics :  use new and existing data, and advanced quantitative analysis to generate deeper insights and drive better and faster decision-making across the capital agenda.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

Our Transaction team works with major corporate and private equity clients, investment banks, large central government departments and other public sector bodies, advising them on complex strategic, commercial, financial and operational decisions.

The selected candidate will be expected to:

·       Use analytics to gather and organize information to deliver business insight, improve business performance, and mitigate risks.

·       Work on descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics

·       Build models to forecast future performance.

·       Develop models, visualizations and algorithms that apply internal & external data

·       Engage with client teams

·       Advice or assist other TAS teams

Profile:

·  Master degree in statistics, data & analytics, mathematics or similar
·   2-6 years working experience in a similar role in consulting industry or a large corporation
·  Familiar with data sourcing, data capture, data transformation and data preparation techniques
·  Good knowledge English & Dutch, French is a plus (other languages are appreciated)
·  Knowledge of SPSS, R, SAS,…
·  Strong communication skills
