Job description

A vacancy has become available in the Advisory Services Department of EY for a Solution Architect within our Robotic Process Automation team. By becoming a part of EY, you will join a fast growing and dynamically developing department that is one of the key players in the Romanian market with an increase focus in the technical field.

 

The opportunity

The Solution Architect assists the team in defining the business and functional requirements based on which designs the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflows architecture, in order to ensure an efficient and optimum development and functionality of the Robots.

Your key responsibilities

Provides support for RPA prerequisites, IT environments setup, installing software, project SDLC compliance, testing and production cut-over
Responsible for the overall RPA solution design, robotics artifacts structure and change control management procedure
Explains to RPA Developers the proposed architecture and oversees the development progress
Produces documents that monitor progress and ensure quality of the RPA development phase
Develops RPA development guidelines and naming convention to be used as training materials for the project teams
Advises clients on managing IT challenges and needs from the RPA perspective

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Knowledge of English at advanced level

Confidence in PC use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

To qualify for the role you must have

 

A university graduatewith a specialization inComputer Science, Information Technology or System Engineering graduate

Min 5 years – up to 7 years of hands-on programming experience
Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products particularly in infrastructure design, ERP, CRM, Network, Security
At least 2 years of experience as team lead
Proven experience in any two of the followings C++, .NET, VB6, Delphi or Javascript

Ideally you also have

 

Proven experience as a Solution Architect
Prior experience with a Robotics technology (. UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere)

Formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (. TOGAF)

A second language (German or French) at an advanced level
