SharePoint Engineer -  Senior Associate:

The opportunity

 

This role is for an experienced Share point Engineer/Developer, with good knowledge around the SharePoint(Cloud and On-Premise). The individual will be providing Engineering/Developmental support for areas involving SharePoint, with a good understanding of Share point Development and Engineering and surrounding technologies (Cloud and On-Premise).  The role is part of a global Share point team in a large, complex and multinational environment.

 

Your key responsibilities

·  Must be able to create custom web parts in SharePoint
·  Diagnosing end user’s problems, and the ability to prescribe the right solution.
·  Must be able to understand and analyse business requirements by working with various stakeholders and create the appropriate information architecture, taxonomy and solution approach
·  Design and deliver technical solutions and documentation in SharePoint using out of the box capabilities and using different SharePoint app models for complex business scenarios in areas such as Workflows, Content Types, and Managed Metadata
·  Diagnose, troubleshoot, and configure SharePoint implementations
·  Responsibly own project tasks and take it through completion.
·  Map client requirements to SharePoint application functionality identifying creative work-arounds when necessary or customizations/custom development.

Skills and attributes for success

·  Proactively anticipate service issues before they occur and must be able to make recommendations around resolution.
·  Proactively monitor and manage SharePoint related components.
·  Taking part in projects as a subject matter expert or as a representative of the service owner.
·  Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are required to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple services and projects simultaneously
·  Evaluate recommendations provided for service improvements, with the ability to identify any gaps or alternate solutions .

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
·  6-years to 8 years of working in a Share point function.
·  Good understanding and development skills using the following: JavaScript, ES6, J Query, TypeScript, Frameworks like Knockout and React, .NET C#, PnP, HTML5, CSS3, SharePoint Framework (SPFX)
·  Experience in Microsoft PowerApps and Flow
·  Must have in-depth knowledge about SharePoint and its functionalities
·  Must be able to create custom web parts in SharePoint
·  Must have SharePoint designer knowledge and html designs .

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Flexible to the demands of the services we provide and any project to which they are assigned.
·  Solid understanding of M365 services including supporting technologies such as SharePoint Technologies, Office System, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services and Web services.
·  Knowledge on practical concepts on migration activities from legacy apps to SharePoint.
