Senior Analyst – Restructuring

GDS TAS Restructuring

Within TAS, Restructuring services helps clients deal with different forms of threats including economic change, competitor innovation, capital constraints, operational challenges, etc. Our team works to provide liquidity & working capital improvements, addressing pension challenges, simplifying the corporate structures. As a Restructuring professional, one would be working on detailed cash flow analysis, working capital assessments, liquidation of companies and insolvency services.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Senior Analyst will include:
·  Managing and participating in Restructuring engagements which are small to medium in nature
·  Analyzing financial and operational results of companies through the preparation of various analysis by reviewing financial statements
·  Preparing/evaluating financial information
·  Assisting in preparing cash flow projection models and basic model reviews
·  Analyzing the financial statements to identify liquidity issues and areas of distress
·  Assisting in identifying opportunity areas for working capital improvements
·  Helping in preparing reports and schedules
·  Maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with EY personnel globally
·  Direct the progress of engagement work and inform supervisors of the engagement status
·  Provide coaching and training to junior team members
·  Comply with EY policies and guidelines
Job requirements

To qualify, candidates must have:
·  Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA in Finance from a premier institute with 2-3 years of experience
·  At least 1 year of relevant external audit experience working with a public accounting firm and/or mergers and acquisitions transactions experience or experience in financial planning and analysis, and statutory accounting
·  Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
·  Effective written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong drive to take new work initiatives, and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
·  Strong project management and interpersonal skills
·  Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal and teaming skills
·  Willingness to travel, when necessary
