Risk & Compliance Officer (Quality & Risk Management)

Job description

This position is a member of Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) team in which at EY plays an important role in managing the internal risks of the firm associated with accepting a new client or an engagement or risks associated with any of our ongoing audit / non audit engagement; ensuring that the business is in full compliance with the laws and regulations as well as promoting all standardized quality / compliance related activities and the adherence to the policy and professional standard within the firm.

Job Description

· Acquire an excellent and thorough understanding of the business within appropriate time.
· Conduct compliance & risk assessments; monitor compliance with various laws and regulation, compliance reviews, evaluations, and generate relevant documents/reports.
· Assist internal clients to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements. Understand the scope of work requested by the internal clients.
· Perform procedures and prepare deliverables for the task assigned.
· Should be able to work under pressure and prioritize work accordingly

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in any fields. Law graduate is preferable.
·  At least 1 year of experience in related fields.
·  Self-driven and result oriented individual.
·  Excellent interpersonal skill and work well as a supportive team player, also, able to work individually with less supervision where necessary.
·  Willing to learn and apply new standards.
·  Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
·  Microsoft Office skills.
