As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

Join our Finance team and you will help enable EY client account teams and management to run the business effectively. You'll help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise wide risk and support market development activities. You will support EY planning, reporting and forecasting and analysis, or help EY people manage day-to-day activities, such as managing engagements, process and auditing time and expense or invoice processing. You'll also work with other parts of our organization, sharing your financial experience and insights to achieve specific goals. You'll get all the support you need to stay on top of regulations ' and the advice and help you'll need to meet your own professional goals.

This role is within Partnership Reporting

Job summary

As Financial Analyst Associate, you will prepare, interpret, report and analyze partner data, such as headcount, organization and compensation results. You will interact with executive partners of the firm. By analyzing data, you will uncover issues, determine root causes and recommend corrections to management. You will also create and test complex reports to meet user specifications. You will interact with executive partners of the firm.

Responsibilities

·  Assist in developing enhancements, functionality, testing and administration of the GPRS Partnership Allocation Recommendation system.
· 
Assist in Global adhoc reporting and Partner Earnings process

·  Identify any ongoing issues that affect partner headcount
·  Prepare results of analytical review and present these in person
·  Deal with requests for ad hoc reports or financial information, and work with internal and external EY personnel to verify or provide information
·  Communicate with external contacts and internal personnel, to resolve open issues

· 
Become familiar with Partner and firm data structures and databases, and begin to develop proficiency in analyzing data elements.

· 
Understand how changes in the firm and/or structure will impact reporting and operating results

· 
Develop highly complex financial models in Excel, which include re-allocating costs based on actual usage rates and spending. Analyze results and communicate them to management

· 
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management. Prepare information to be included in external and statutory reporting

· 
Prepare more complex financial reporting for internal client management

· 
Participate in special projects as necessary

· 
Responsible for maintaining back up files and ensures that it is well organized.

Knowledge and skills requirements

· 
Advanced PC skills and Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, V lookup and Pivot tables.

· 
Ability to create Excel macros is a plus.

· 
Knowledge of MS Access, SQL Queries and Business Objects also a plus

· 
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively

· 
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and delegation skills

· 
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach basic software functionality to others

· 
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

· 
Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job; with initiative and can work independently as well as part of the team

· 
Willing to work longer hours during fiscal year-end earnings process, or for ad hoc requests when necessary.

Demonstrated poise and confidence when interacting with top management 

Experience

·  Approximately 1-3 years related accounting experience

 Education

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
