About EY Technology Team

Suitable candidate will join EY’s Compute Network Services (CNS) - Office Connect (OC) Tower as a Network Engineer and will work as part of the team managing the office wired and wireless infrastructure. Participation in automation efforts in OC function, work to create and maintain the infrastructure inventory and support the budgeting for OC as a whole. The position is part of the team that is responsible for the service ownership for OC globally and within this group sit the functions of Service Management, Transition, Design and Engineering. This role with have a primary focus on the Service Management and Transition elements.

 
Responsibilities:
·  Support the automation effort within the CNS function
·  Management of network device inventory
·  Support the standardisation of network documentation and processes
·  Participation in OC Projects to create the design as per EY standards
·  Participation in Infrastructure projects and work in co-ordination with Engineering group to complete the implementation phase
·  Transition the completed projects to Operations group with relevant knowledge sharing and documentation
·  New Wi-Fi implementations and troubleshooting
·  End Of Life (EOL) network refresh and budget planning over equipment lifetime
·  Support Global Vulnarabilty Management and remediation like also supporting any kind of LAN audits

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Degree at university level
·  English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
·  3+ years of working in an network engineering or appropriate function
·  Strong knowledge and experiences in wireless design solutions, Implementation and troubleshooting
·  Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the networking domain with intermediate knowledge of complementing infrastructures. Small and Medium Branch Office Routing, Switching & Wireless LAN technologies
·  Strong ability to document processes, procedures and network designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Technical skills :
·  Knowledge in Python, Powershell and Ansible
·  Infrastructure Services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.)
·  Exposure to various facets of and branch office build-out including planning, designing and implementation of facilities and structured cabling solutions.
·  Experience in evaluating, adapting and implementing multi-vendor global LAN networks for integrated (voice, video, data) traffic using various connectivity means, including MPLS, IPSEC VPN and others.
·  Knowledge in SDWAN and Cloud technologies are preferred.
·  Proactively anticipate project needs and sound analytical problem solving and organizational skills
·  Sound knowledge of ITIL practices to support the EY Business within OC Tower.
