Job scope
 
At EY Belgium FSO we have a growing Internal Audit practice; our dedicated professionals work with prestigious financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, asset management), helping them create and implement an effective and efficient processes to identify and evaluate risks; we provide our clients with competent advice on how to best manage those risks.
For this team, we are looking for a motivated junior consultant to join us.

Main tasks and responsibilities
·  Work on client engagements and internal projects
·  Perform risk assessments on key business activities and use information to determine scope of review, in conjunction with the audit team
·  Establish risk based audit programs
·  Review the suitability of internal control design and operating effectiveness and assess compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
·  Draft reports and schedules to be delivered to clients and other parties
·  As a member of the team, help to create a positive learning culture. 
·  Keeping client informed about general management efficiency through analysis, interviews, test-cases and evaluations of the financial and operational processes and activities at all level of the organization.

To qualify for the role you must have
·  A Master Degree in (Applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering, Finance, Accountancy or Commercial Sciences
·  Ability to perform effective research and convey complex topics in a clear, comprehensible manner
·  Fluency in Dutch and French, with proficient level of business English
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
·  An analytical mind and an eye for detail
·  A keen interest to learn more about the Financial Services market in Belgium and beyond.
