Job description

IT Advisor, System Integration, Oracle Manager - Financial Service Office (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Work with clients to integrate Oracle technology solutions that help clients operate more efficiently and effectively. Identify business requirements and design solutions that align with Oracle technologies. Responsible for all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, technology architecture and functional design, testing, and implementation. Consult with managers to determine the role of IT systems in an organization. Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if IT systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile. Devise ways to add new functionality to existing computer systems. Design and implement new systems by choosing and configuring hardware and software. Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization. Conduct testing to ensure that the systems work as expected

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management and Information Systems, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management and Information Systems, Finance, or related field and 4 years of work experience in defining business and technical requirements.

Must have 3 years of experience in both system implementation execution and system implementation design.

Must have 2 years of experience in a financial services company and/or providing advisory services for the financial services industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in two or more of the following Oracle applications:
- Cloud ERP
- PeopleSoft
- Hyperion EPM
- OFSAA
- FAH
- Oracle eBusiness Suite

Must have 2 years of experience managing and supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture and functional design, testing, and implementation.

Must have 2 years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
- definition of business and technical requirements
- design of technology architecture
- system selection and implementation support
- data mapping and conversion
- business and IT process reengineering
- program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)

Must have 2 years of experience in 2 or more of the following project areas:
- Finance transformation and accelerated close
- sub-ledger/ledger redesign
- management reporting enhancement
- business intelligence/decision support
- data warehousing/enterprise data design and management
- enterprise application integration
- financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- financial process redesign or improvement

Requires travel up to 70%, of which 20% may be international, in order to serve client needs.
