Our Financial Services Advisory Department focuses on wealth & asset management, banking and capital markets, insurance and private equity to provide Advisory services in the areas of Performance Improvement, Risk and IT to Financial Services organizations in Luxembourg and in EMEIA.

 

In order to support the growth of our Actuarial Services Team,  

we are currently looking to recruit an:

 

Intern Actuary (m/f)

Your responsibilities :

·  Perform quantitative analyses around risk management matters related to the (re-)insurance sector in Luxembourg, with a focus on Solvency II
·  Analyze regulatory, accounting and reporting requirements applicable to our (re-)insurance client
·  Achieve Employee Benefits related assignments
·  Participate to Audit support activities for (re)insurances and pension funds
·  Develop tools for related assignments

We will give you the opportunity to increase your level of autonomy and responsibility in a short period of time by involving you in challenging projects.

Your profile:

·  You are looking for a final internship to write your Master’s Thesis in Actuarial Sciences
·  You have a first experience in actuarial fields (internship, gap year)
·  You have some understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g. Solvency II) and compliance issues related to the (re-)insurance sector
·  You have strong interest in the analysis, the modelling and the resolution of financial problems
·  You are proficient in Excel and VBA, any other computer language will be considered as an asset
·  You are willing to learn and develop yourself on an ongoing basis
·  You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
·  You have good organization skills, team spirit, problem-solving attitude and pro-activity
·  You are fluent in English and in French; additional language skills will be considered as an asset..
