Right now, we are looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our EY GDS Advisory team focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.

 

Within last few years creating full-stack solutions including Java and Angular became the most efficient and wide spread solutions around the globe. You can find it using any website. Following the most significant market player, we are using Java and Angular to offer the best, tailored-made solutions to our clients.

 

As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on Java and Guidewire platform as well as you will transfer insurance business of tomorrow

Your key responsibilities

This role is a crucial one in terms of our current projects. As a full-stack Developer in the IT Advisory Services you will contribute in various projects (in different technologies) as well as designing, implementing and testing code to deliver business solutions.

Skills and attributes for success
·  Presenting advanced knowledge of Java programming knowledge (Java 8) and design patterns used in real-time transaction processing systems
·  Following the best practices and guidelines to provide the best products to our customers
·  Building relationships internally and externally to discover and meet our clients’ further needs, promoting a culture of collaboration
 
To qualify for the role you must have:
·  2 – 5 years of commercial experience in Java/J2EE with Spring Framework
·  Experience with client side technologies: Angular 2+, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
·  In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented principles
·  Experience with JPA and SQL
·  Experience with Continuous Delivery
·  Knowledge of Clean Code
·  Good command of English both verbal and written
·  Sense of humour

Ideally, you’ll also have
·  Node.js and NoSQL experience
·  Knowledge about azure and microservices
·  Experience in Agile development lifecycle
·  Knowledge of functional programming
·  German or other European language will be an advantage
·  Knowledge of Polish language
