External Data Sourcing Specialist (Knowledge) (Assistant Director) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX.

Source and optimize high value external data that is required as input into EY Knowledge products and services and in support of EY’s enterprise-wide needs. Enable business decisions on external data sourcing needs. Drive best practice use of external data assets to solve business problems and manage data collections for strategic use. Optimize external data by analyzing consumption / usage and proactively managing and improving the catalog records that are embedded via the global knowledge infrastructure, including applying proper metadata and refining abstracts/titles. Ensure continuous improvement of data quality, access and relevance to meet priorities and business needs. Improve the findability, accessibility, and usage of external data assets via the global knowledge infrastructure. Evaluate the business impact of external data assets and translate into impactful business cases for investment decision-making by leadership. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 6 years of related work experience.

Must have 6 years of experience working in financial data management and the information market.

Must have 6 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Must have 5 years of experience with data management principles and practices, including experience with individual tax across global jurisdictions.

Must have 5 years of experience working in a professional services firm, a consulting firm, or a mid-sized/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm.

Must have 5 years of experience presenting knowledge activities to external or internal client leaders in the context of business objectives, using commercial language.

Must have 2 years of experience managing medium-sized project teams to ensure the execution and delivery of external data sourcing expectations and achieve knowledge priorities.

Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
