EY Bulgaria seeks to recruit an Experienced Payroll Specialist to work in Sofia or remotely from any town of Bulgaria

Purpose of the role:

As an Experienced Payroll Specialist at EY you will ensure accurate processing of our clients’ payroll and personnel administration.

Responsibilities:
•Perform daily payroll tasks related to processing vacations and sick leaves, uploading variable payroll elements
•Process net to gross calculations
•Participate in preparation of monthly payroll reporting
•Perform various HR administration tasks, mainly related to administration of new joiners, leavers and transfers
•Address payroll queries raised by clients and their employees
•Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
•Keep yourself updated with the changes in the labor and social security legislation
•Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
•Build strong internal relationships within the team and across other teams
•Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures


What skills and knowledge are required:
• University degree of Economics (Accounting, HR degree would be considered as an advantage)
•At least two years of relevant work experience
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
•Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

•Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills and proven ability to multitask 
•Experience with specialized accounting and payroll software systems would be an advantage
•Attention to details with a commitment to high quality and accuracy

•Self-motivated, positive attitude •Willingness to learn and develop professionally

What we offer:
If the employee is not located in Sofia, the work will be performed remotely from her/his home town using EY equipment and systems. Travelling to the office of EY in Sofia will be required for the on-boarding of the Payroll Specialist for one week initially, as well as occasionally (approximately on bi-monthly basis) thereafter
