Position Summary:

·  The Talent Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) team is responsible for collaborating with the business to develop communications and engagement programs that increase our people’s understanding and engagement with key Talent programs.
·  Talent topics may include: New change programs related to performance management, career development, Diversity and Inclusiveness, awards, various firm-wide programs and key talent and firm wide change initiatives such as the Global People Survey, Great Places to Work, retention, global mobility, etc.
·  Most Talent programs are globally-driven while some are initiated at the Area and region level. This role supports the implementation of global Talent programs and related activities across the EMEIA geographic area and EMEIA-specific programs.
·  The role works closely and collaboratively with members of the EMEIA Talent team, the global Talent BMC team, as well as communications leaders and Talent communications managers in the various EMEIA regions.
·  The role will function as a key part of the Talent BMC team and will be responsible for developing communications plans and deliverables to further our people’s understanding and engagement with key talent priorities. Strong consulting and communications skills, including significant experience with communications planning are essential.
·  The role will also be expected to work with the EMEIA Talent BMC Leader and other members of the BMC Talent team to integrate messaging across programs and coordinate execution with the Areas, Regions, channels and service lines. The resulting communications should address the specific needs of local markets and audiences. Strategic thinking, initiative, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to adapt, influence and challenge are essential.  

 

 

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Deliver engaging, relevant and timely content for our people, including material for large group meetings and events, digital channels and social media, and to support execution of firm wide programs
·  Work closely with the Area Communications & People Engagement leader and the Regions to deliver employee communications
·  Develop communications plans for Talent programs. Manage the execution and delivery of these communications plans both internally and externally.
·  Support delivery of specific programs and initiatives through the creation and deployment of communications toolkits for BMC colleagues; develop toolkit content including messaging guides and other collateral as required; and provide ongoing support for regions to deliver these programs successfully. Present feedback from the Regions to global communications to share knowledge and influence global planning where appropriate
·  Collaborate closely with other team members and colleagues across BMC to align and integrate strategic messages that reflect EY’s most critical priorities; communicate these messages though our most relevant channels. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on brand, marketing, communications and change management issues, trends and long-term implications for EY

 

Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements:

 

·  Demonstrate broad communications management experience, ideally gained within professional services or in a similar world-class global organization, with strong working knowledge of the professional services sector and commercial awareness
·  Demonstrate first-class communications skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as consulting, listening and interpretation skills
·  Demonstrate meticulous editing skills with very strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output
·  Demonstrate the ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and to influence those stakeholders as a trusted advisor
·  Demonstrate experience working effectively, collaboratively and proactively with colleagues across boundaries (service line and geography)
·  Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills
·  Demonstrate the ability to balance multiple demands and projects successfully, effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
·  Be a creative and innovative thinker with a strong track record of developing credible ideas for content
·  Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex, global organization

Job Requirements:

Education:

·  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent area of study or experience); graduate or equivalent experience, with qualification in public relations, internal communications or corporate communications, preferred

 

Experience:

·  Broad brand, marketing and communications experience in a world-class global organization
·  Excellent copywriting and editing skills, strong attention to detail
·  Highly creative with the ability to develop and deliver credible ideas for content
·  Strong project management and organizational skills
·  Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior-level stakeholders
