The opportunity
 
As a result of continued growth, EY’s R&D Tax and Innovation Incentives team wishes to hire a talented Consultant to engage with Australia’s innovation community (including some of Australia’s top innovators), and support them in assessing their eligibility for the Export Market Development Grant. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to use your STEM/law/commerce background, in combination with your sound business acumen, to deliver impactful services to EY’s clients.

Your key responsibilities

Drawing on your technical knowledge gained from your education or experience in industry, you will advise and support our clients in accessing the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) and other innovation/growth incentives. You will engage with active companies to understand their development objectives and drivers, analysing complex project information to assess eligibility for the grants and other R&D incentives. Working in high performing teams, you will prepare detailed work papers and reports to help deliver exceptional results to EY’s clients

To qualify for the role you must have
·  Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in at least one of the following disciplines:
·  Engineering - including mechatronic, robotics, electrical, mechanical
·  Biological Sciences - including biotechnology, medical technology, environmental science, biology
·  Law or Commerce
·  Double degree applicants, whilst not essential, will be looked at positively
·  At least 1 to 2 years of industry experience with the EMDG regime
·  Drive to provide excellent service to clients and build a better working world
