Job description

FULL JOB TITLE: Analyst, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) (Working Capital Advisory Services)(Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Identify cash flow improvement opportunities to help clients implement changes to their processes and policies to achieve sustainable cash flow improvement. Advise companies on methods and processes to quickly and efficiently identify available cash, which may be tied to working capital, as a means to produce additional liquidity, improve the ability to forecast cash reserves, and create flexibility in meeting financial covenants. Support cash reductions through process efficiencies, reducing exposure to bad debt, and slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience; or a master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in delivering performance improvement projects related to supply chain/inventory optimization, sourcing/procurement or sales/accounts receivable that deliver tangible results (cost reduction, increased cash flow, etc.)

Must have 3 years of experience in executing performance improvement opportunity analysis in MS Excel and MS Access.

 

Must have 2 years of experience in achieving identified working capital improvements for private equity or corporate clients.

Must have 2 years of consulting experience at a management consulting or professional services firm.

Must have 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis as it relates to determining the impact of process and policy changes involving AP, AR and/or inventory transactional data.

Must have 1 year of experience in project/engagement management, including managing engagements and engagement related budgets, as well as managing, developing and coaching professional employees, goal setting, and performance reviews.

Requires domestic and international travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
