Description of the Unit

Digital Transformation & IT is a newly formed unit within Group Function Technology & Emerging Business, with the aim to drive our digital strategy, vision and to ensure cross-functional execution. Automation & AI is a key theme of Ericsson Digital Transformation and competence is now consolidated to drive business transformation through automation, and to ensure a secure and scalable development, deployment and continued operations.

This position will be reporting to the Head of Automation & AI Execution.

The position is to be held in Stockholm (Kista)

Job Description

We are looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Solution Architect. You will lead and drive the architecture for Automation solutions and work in close cooperation with stakeholders such as the business organisation, strategic and technical product Manager for Automation, Enterprise Architects and IT security. There is also a number of external stakeholders i.e. service providers and product vendors.

Responsibilities:

Convert requirements to a cost-efficient solution architecture compliant to architectural principles, models and guidelines ensuring consistency between business, information and technology.

The ICT Solutions Architect interacts with internal stakeholders and external customers to define and provide solutions enhancing their competitive position.

Participate in high level design and explore alternatives to establish high level system design

Qualifications

·  Good knowledge in in IT Architecture and Technology
·  Genuine interest in/Knowledge of Business Management
·  Sound knowledge of Automation
·  Delivering results and meeting Customer Expectations
·  Master's degree in engineering or Business Administration
