Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Lead Developer for our Software Development & Integration Unit within the IoT portfolio. As a Lead Developer, you will be part of a team developing product and solutions towards selected Industries and partners shaping the way devices, industries and consumers interact with each other. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities:

·  You will drive strategic technical leadership
·  Developing cutting edge cloud platform services
·  Part of an autonomous cross-functional team developing, testing, and deploying code for products delivering services to millions of users every day
·  Acting as technical champion in your domain and coach other team members
·  Performing continuous analysis and requirement handling together with our product owners
·  Continuously improving our tools for continuous testing, integration, and deployment
·  Coach and mentor junior members of the team
·  Represent the development team in discussions with different organizational stakeholders

Key Qualifications:

·  B.E. / B.Tech. from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes in a relevant stream of Engineering
·  Between 10 years to 15 years of IT experience
·  Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Design or Development and Product Lifecycle Management
·  3 years of experience in leading cross functional teams
·  Experience of working in Agile SW development teams
·  Proven experience from innovating, adapting and responding to change
·  Planning and organizing software development work
·  Strong interpersonal skills
·  Business understanding
·  Working with people and networking

·  Delivering results and meeting customer expectations

Strong expertise in the following areas

·  Java, Java Springboot, Spring Framework, Entity framework
·  GOLang
·  Message Brokering, KAFKA
·  Dockers, Kubernetes,
·  Cloud Foundry
·  AWS, Azure
·  Netflix Stack
·  Event Driven Architecture (EDA)
·  Cloud - Azure, AWS, Functions, Dockers, Brokers,
·  Knowledge of microservices and containerization
·  Working with HTTP clients with knowledge of security
·  Working with databases (SQL and NOSQL)
·  Strong Knowledge of design patterns
·  Can evaluate tradeoffs in various architectural choices
·  Ability to work in a Test-Driven Development(TDD) environment, i.e., write a failing test to reproduce a bug before fixing it
·  Understanding of concepts such as building safety nets, safe to fail and fail fast
·  Ability to modify small parts of the software with the above two principles
·  Experience in delivering software continuously
·  Experience in working with open source software (experience in contributing to open source a plus but should know at least some popular open source software libraries)
