Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Technical Solution Sales Support with Small Cell / Distributed Antenna System (DAS) estimating responsibilities to support the KAM organization with product and solution expertise on different levels in pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects. Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader. Secure that customer feedback is shared with R&D organization.

Responsibilities:

·  You will position Ericsson as technology leader, communicate and discuss Ericsson's technology strategy and vision with customer CTO/CIO and direct reports
·  Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer
·  Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customer
·  Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on Ericsson's technology and solutions is communicated to the ones in need at Business Units, Group Function and Ericsson Research.
·  Translate requests for proposals (RFP) into a professional proposal by assembling project assumptions and creating budget estimates with written narratives of services.
·  Interface with customers and account representatives to understand requirements of bids as relating to services.
·  Interact with suppliers to support the creation of customer facing proposals. scopes of work and/or quotes.
·  Review and understand scope of work, and/or preparation of scope of work as required.
·  Prepare labor cost estimates, including estimation of man-hours and expenses to complete proposed scopes.
·  As needed, assist in negotiation of terms and conditions for supplier contracts.
·  Follow-up on proposals, answer services related questions, etc.

Key Qualifications:

·  Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar
·  Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions at Ericsson or equivalent
·  Domain experience:
·  Thorough knowledge of assigned area
·  Experience from working in the field with customers
·  Business Understanding

Additional Requirements:

·  Knowledge of market installation cost for Small Cells & Distributed Antenna System (DAS).
·  Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, emergency generators, National Electrical Code requirements); environmental requirements including hazardous material, spill prevention, and other regulatory guidelines, such as OSHA, general building maintenance, and vendor maintenance.
·  Familiarity with working in small to large office buildings, colleges, hospital etc.
·  Experience with DAS installations of Mobile Access, Commscope and TE Connectivity equipment is preferred.
·  Construction knowledge of requirements for Antenna installations (mostly for In-building DAS and some Outdoor DAS as necessary), connectors, testing, and experience with various manufacturers.
·  Extensive experience with antenna types, antenna mounts, cable installation such as (coax & Cat6), grounding systems and AC and DC power.
·  Knowledge about Fiber installation, variations, patch panel installation, splicing and optical measurements.
·  Experience with civils, building designs, floor plans, A&E drawing and construction for cable pathways and risers.
·  Ability to understand and read construction documentation and drawings
·  Some construction management skills including: CAD/design review, implementation, and project management.
·  Familiarity with iBWave software is a plus. (iBwave certification is not required)
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills and technical writing ability.
·  Business acumen and financial analysis, including understanding of costs, margins, etc.
·  Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task on more than one presales engagement at a time.
·  Strong interpersonal and project management skills to drive suppliers for deliverables to meet customer timelines and commitments, combined with ability to negotiate with suppliers.
·  High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
