Ericsson Early Career Program offers new graduates and young professionals an excellent opportunity to develop yourself and accelerate your career in global, inspiring, and fast-paced environment. The 12-month long program will start September 4th and participants will be hired in Sweden, Finland, Russia and Estonia.

The program consists of a combination of face-to-face and online-based learning sessions which focus on Organizational and Business understanding, Project Management, Financial and Commercial Mindset, Presentation skills, Customer and people skills as well as Leadership and Innovation, and understanding Ericsson and Ericsson’s business environment. Each participant will be assigned with a mentor that will support you along the way. You will be hired to a certain position and unit, but will do rotations when needed and work in multinational projects. You will have the opportunity to build excellent networks within Ericsson and your achievements will be highly visible in the company.

As a Support Engineer you will:

Work together with Customer Support team and will provide technical service and support to our Customers.
In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks.
The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization.
Working as a support engineer will require a broad knowledge within telecom and Datacom, covering both hardware, software and network knowledge. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. The role more than often requires you to take on big responsibility and it is important that you can work independently.

Key Qualifications

·  Education: bachelor or master degree in engineering, IT, telecom or equivalent and/or relevant experience in related discipline with a preference of 0 up to 3 years of experience
·  Min years of experience: 0-3
·  Domain experience: IP (knowledge of IP Packet Flow, OSI Layers, related technologies: ICMP, TCP, VRRP)
·  Experience in configuring networking equipment (routers/switches/firewalls) and troubleshooting network issues.
·  Knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS , RIP) and Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, 802.1q/p VLAN, etc.), certifications (CCENT, CCNA, JNCIA ) would be a plus.
·  English and Russian skills
·  Negotiation & argumentation skills
·  Planning & organizing skills
·  Presentation & communication skill
·  Working with people

Responsibilities & Tasks:

·  Handle customer service requests (CSR), Perform Trouble Shooting for customer issues
·  Troubleshoot customer issues both in the lab and in live networks as well as remotely and in field
·  Register Trouble Report and follow up
·  Verify provided solutions

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for newly graduates or candidates with 0-3 years of previous work experience with the following qualifications;

·  Master/Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
·  Fluency in English and Russian
·  Technical/IT interest with & ability to develop ICT capabilities.
·  Proven problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills
·  Customer focused and a desire to understand the business needs with end user satisfaction/experience in focus
·  Desire to make a difference and a drive to deliver maximum value. Focus, creativity and self-motivation
·  Professional mindset with strong ability to priorities, manage time and deliver results
·  Strong team player with high interpersonal skills
·  Leadership and change management capabilities with a drive to become a future leader

In addition, in the role of the Support Engineer we expect:

·  Understanding aspects like security, performance, scalability, availability and resilience
·  Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
