The unit you will work within - Product Development Unit, Radio Products, Radio Software

Radio SW strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain competitive, high-quality Radio products which give our customer solutions securing future growth. We develop LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA and now also 5G Network solutions to operators all over the world.

Radio SW is part of the Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio within Development Unit Network Products (DNEP). We are based in Stockholm (Kista) with operations also in Nanjing. We also have a close corporation with development of PDU's Radio products in Ottawa and Beijing.

We are now looking for you, who are newly graduated and/or has a couple of years of working experience within the field. We are seeking new talents to become DSP developers to work with Radio algorithms to further add performance and flexibility to the Radio products.

Position Summary:

As an Algorithm Designer, you will be responsible for algorithm design in Radio SW, focusing on but not limited to the following areas:

·  DSP Platform
·  UL linearization
·  PIM cancellation
·  DPD
·  Baseband Beamforming
·  Antenna Calibration
·  MIMO

These algorithms will be used in radio products and contribute to the network evolution into 5G.

In day-to-day work you will be part of the Radio SW team, to analyze product/customer requirements, define product architecture, research and propose new solutions, design/simulate/implement algorithms.

Qualifications:

·  M.Sc. or above.
·  Proficiency in C
·  Proficient in DSP algorithm implementation
·  Experience in assembler for vector signal processors
·  Experience in DSP platforms
·  Quality and efficiency minded, analytical thinking
·  Experienced of one or more of the following tools:
·  Matlab/Simulink
·  C/C++ on DSP
·  FPGA specified tools, like system generator/etc.
·  Good communication in English
·  Creative, proactive, with passion to win
·  Familiar with radio/digital HW design is a strong plus
·  Experience with FPGA implementation is a strong plus
