The Role: Supply Chain Analyst II

Purpose 
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for timely processing and tracking of orders utilizing ENGIE North America’s (ENA) ERP. This individual will also create and update solar project construction budgets. As part of the Solar Projects team, the Analyst must exhibit solid communication skills with the ability to balance competing priorities. A successful candidate will thrive in a team setting and will interact with project management, engineering, accounting, and category management teams, as well as external vendors.

Essential Job Functions 

·  Tracks and manages material inventory for distributed solar group
·  Generates and submits purchase orders based of project specifications
·  Develops and updates construction budgets for all projects, using input from category management, engineering, developers, and other sources
·  Reviews available project documentation, such as plans, specs, and RFP language, to customize budgets for each project
·  Tracks serial data of various components installed on project site
·  Works with project managers and contractors to coordinate deliveries with suppliers
·  Serves as point person for all logistics related issues
·  Manages vetting process for all logistics suppliers (transportation & warehousing)
·  Collects and archives project specific supply chain documents for all components procured on each project including: bills of lading, cut sheets, quotes, warranty terms, and purchase orders
·  Confirms and executes goods receipt for procured material to initiate invoice processing
·  Manages inventory transfers for equipment delivered to project site
·  Settles month end inventory
·  Creates and manages item master list in ERP & CRM database
·  Conducts return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) with supplier, contractors, and project managers for all material-related issues during construction phase
·  Generates and distributes material forecasts to suppliers

·  Could involve some lifting Education/Experience  

·  2-5 years’ experience in a supply chain or order management role 
·  Experienced project estimator with knowledge of engineering take-offs or similar
·  Previous solar experience preferred, or similar construction/electrical project experience required  Additional Notes

·  Travel may be required from time to time (up to 5%)
