You will join GEM-IS, the team in charge of designing, developing and operating enchanting technological solutions for GEM and its customers. We are looking for an  Apprentice   C# Developer - Market Data Tooling (H/F)  in Paris  to join our tribe dedicated to build the most resilient and innovative products to connect energy world through markets and support the energy transition.


Your mission

 

Organization


Within the GEM IS organization, the CTO (Commercial Trading & Origination) delivery center is in charge to accompany CTO business entity on their pre-trade IT needs. The main topics covered by the team are : 
·  an automated trading system platform
·  a market access platform
·  a dashboard for sales on clients information (client360)
·  an E-Business web site for CTO clients Role

Candidate will work as part of the Automated Trading System (ATS) & Market access team. He will code tooling around Marketdata access. Mains topics will be: 

·  feed recorder: Store (NoSql database) all orders from markets on a configurable list of instruments.
·  feed analyzer: Develop a services layers and a Graphical Interface on top of the orders database with the objective to consult or replay (step by step) the market ticks
·  product referential: Define the data model and a CRUD service layer for the storage of the market product referential (products, maturities, units, …)
·  technologies: C#, WPF, MongoDB  Main activities

·  understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
·  collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects and business users
·  write high quality source code to program enhancements
·  perform unit and integration testing
·  perform functional and non-functional testing
·  develop trading algorithms in connection with traders
·  respect the development standards
·  keep up with trends in terms of standard, technologies or methodologies

Education

We are looking for a talented developer apprentice to join our team in September 2017.
This is for a 1 or 2 year  apprenticeship  (Master 2) in Computer Science (Epitech, Epita, 42, Leonard de Vinci…).

Technical knowledge

The ideal candidate is not an expert but has basic knowledge and skills in development (C#, WPF, MongoDB)
