ENGIE are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to be based at Worcester Royal Hospital, WR5 1DD. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Working Hours:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday - Off , Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 06:00 - 14:30, Saturday, Sunday - Off

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday - 0600 - 14:30

Role Overview

· 
Carry out maintenance, repairs and inspection of civil, grounds and gardens services across the healthcare estate

· 
Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc requests

· 
Assist in carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.

· 
Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand, power tools and grounds vehicles in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers' guidelines.

· 
Respond in a safe manner to the effects of adverse weather, e.g. snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds, etc.

· 
Carry out risk assessments on-site as instructed by supervisor / manager.

· 
Carrying out general grounds and garden works to achieve on site KPI's

· 
Be available for planned out of hours call out, weekend working depending on production and business requirements.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Experience of using and maintaining a large variety of Gardening & building tools, maintenance tools and light/ heavy machinery, along with good building knowledge and skills.
·  Possess strong practical skills and knowledge of civil, grounds & gardens maintenance.
·  GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
·  Previously worked within a Healthcare maintenance environment is desirable
·  Basic knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is desirable
·  Full clean Driving License is essential.
