Engie are recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor to be based in Engie Buildings Limited C3 The Point Weaver Road Lincoln LN6 3QN. This is a permanent full time/part time role working 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hrs per day between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 dependent upon business need). On offer is a salary of £22,000-£24,000 per annum. The role holder will report to Facilities Manager and provide support across several education facilities where ENGIE provide services such as: maintenance; cleaning; porterage; and maintenance of the external site, including preparations for seasonal changes to the outside areas.  
•Respond to emergency situations in accordance with the Joint Emergency Response Plan (JERP).
•Co-ordinate the work to be undertaken by subcontractors.  Ensure the Company’s Policy on the management of approved subcontractors is fully implemented.
•Ensure maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme.
•Ensure reactive maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the relevant safe system of work and within individual competency levels.
•Ensure internal and external routine inspections of the premises are carried out.
•Ensure records are maintained and updated as appropriate.
•Make the necessary arrangements for the support of out of hours activities.
•Manage the ordering and adequate supply of materials.
•Ensure the correct procedures are followed for the safe and efficient handling of waste.
•Ensure that caretaking staff respond in a safe manner to the effects of adverse weather conditions.
•Ensure that risk assessments are undertaken and regularly reviewed for all caretaking related tasks.
•Ensure personal tasks and the duties of the caretaking and cleaning teams are carried out in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, Company and recommended guidelines.
•Undertake training as necessary to maintain the requirements of the service.
•Collaborate and co-operate with work colleagues, representatives and users of the school’s facilities to deliver a customer focussed service.  
•Support the Company’s commitment to Health and Safety policies and procedures.

•Experience working within school environment would be beneficial 
•Experience of people management, sickness, performance, risk management and compliance with HR legislation.
•Experience of managing Sub Contractors and maintaining standards.
•Responding to bespoke client/ operational requests for information.
•Ad hoc reporting requirements for management and client to be undertaken. 
•Good working knowledge of standard IT packages.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Must be well organised and efficient.
•Must be self-motivated and be able to work on own initiative.
•An understanding of statutory compliance and reporting.
•Experience of Asset Management and CAFM systems.
•Experience of working and adhering to budgets, offering cost effective solutions
