The Role: E-Procurement Business Analyst 

Position Summary
E-Procurement Business Analyst role will be part of the North America Strategic Sourcing and Supply Team based in Houston. This position will fill the Product Owner role for Coupa Procurement application representing Procurement and the user community and coordinate with IT to support the application and roll out of new features. Coupa applications include but not limit to Coupa Procure-to-Pay, SIM (Supplier Information Management), Sourcing and Contracts across Corporate and other business entities in North America. This individual will take a lead role in resolving issues, identifying opportunities for improvement of processes and supporting business needs in general for end users including training.

Essential Job Functions


·  Engage in improving business processes design and supporting the implementation of Coupa Procure-to-Pay, SIM, Sourcing and Contracts across NA business entities with focus on 1) enhancing business user experience 2) optimizing workflow and features to decrease bottlenecks and improve compliance. 
·  Provide application administration which includes supplier adoption, user adoption, work-flow configuration, and training for business and suppliers during the implementation phases and after the implementation period for newly acquired entities. 
·  Be the champion to increase user adoption for business entities currently deploying Coupa, show the value of the tool to those entities not currently using it and lead the transition into Coupa. 
·  Review User Business requirements and map to system capabilities, identify gaps and work with the business to build functional solutions, develop and monitor testing strategies, and ensure resolution of any issues.
·  Responsible for delivering effective content management, managing template library and building e-catalogs in Coupa.
·  Perform complex and detailed spend data analysis, provide regular analytic reporting/metrics and data insights for NA Procurement Organization. 
·  Advise procurement on best practices related to Coupa and work closely with Category Managers to optimize and leverage Coupa to support critical sourcing activities; lead or support special projects assigned by Procurement Management.
·  Work with IT to trouble shoot and answer Coupa platform questions from business areas; coordinate system maintenance and upgrades and configuration tasks with IT, maintain system and process documentation. 
·  Support test requirements from stakeholders, work with IT to ensure all testing environments are set up correctly and responsible for functional testing of the solution including resolution of identified issues.

Requirements
Solid understanding of the full end to end Procurement to Pay process and systems from procurement, business users and supplier perspective.
Strong Project Management, excellent analytical skill and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, demonstrate initiatives and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively to stakeholders
Advanced skill in Excel, Access and Power Pivots

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
Could involve some lifting.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or BS in Computer Science required
3-5 years of hands-on functional and configuration experience implementing and working with Procurement/Sourcing/Contract solutions (e.g. Coupa, Ariba or other Procurement SaaS tools)
Prior work experience in integrating e Procurement tool with SAP is a plus
