In order to strengthen its teams, The Corporate M&A direction of ENGIE Group is looking for a trainee :

Internship's title: Corporate M&A internship

Description of the proposed missions

·  Provide execution support on various strategic acquisitions and partnership opportunities
·  Support Engie's strategic actions around geographic footprint refocus and Customer Solutions selectivity by being involved on various M&A processes
·  Financial analysis / modelling of identified projects
·  Competitive analysis and market intelligence
·  Coordination with internal and external stakeholders of M&A projects
·  Preparation of internal documentations for ExCom or board meetings

Trainee's profil

·  You are currently in a final year or gap year (“césure”) at top tier business or engineering school and available for a period of 6 months
·  A first experience in finance (investment banking, private equity, transaction services) would be highly appreciated
·  You have strong financial analysis and modelling skills
·  Your mind is your best tool, you know how to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
·  You are attracted to the energy and renewables spaces
·  Able to work in an international environment, you have excellent written and oral communications skills, both in English and in French.
·  Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel

Duration : 6 months (minimum)

Start date : 1 September 2020
