Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Operational Optimization, the incumbent must optimize the maintenance program, handle dispatching, track work orders, measure maintenance system performance, and develop follow-up and analytical reports. The incumbent occasionally must visit facilities under management to check the quality of preventive maintenance performed.
 
Responsabilities:
• Integrate equipment maintenance procedures and technical information into the trade tool (Planon).
• Perform dispatching and track work orders in the CMMS.
• Train operations staff on the CMMS system.
• Develop and update CMMS procedures, instructions and training documents.
• Participate in the maintenance process continuing improvement program.
• Provide frontline technical support to CMMS software users as required.
• Visit facilities under management to check the quality of preventive maintenance.
• Participate in tests of the trade tool configured within CMMS for new contracts, prior to delivery to internal and external clients.
• Perform any other related duty requested by the immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma of Collegial Studies in building mechanics or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (any equivalent combination of relevant experience and training will be considered);
• At least two years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of a CMMS software (e.g. Maximo, Planon, etc.);
• Very solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel (advanced level);
• Able to pass a technical knowledge exam;
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English;
• Solid knowledge of building mechanics;
• Able to pass security checks required for access to secured sites.
