Position Summary

As the Cloud Security Engineer you will be responsible for fulfilling ENGIE's mission; making things faster, more reliable, and scalable and sustainable for our global growth.

Responsibilities

· 

·  Responsible for the thorough documentations of implementations, via technical documentation and run-books
·  Responsible for input and feedback on security architectures
·  Apply adept understanding and experience with systems automation platforms and technologies
·  Partake in efforts that shape the organization's security policies and standards for use in cloud environments
·  Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers
·  Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls
·  Collaborate with application developers and database administrators to deliver creative solutions to difficult technology challenges and business requirements
·  Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams
·  Execute security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems
·  Responsible for automating security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support
·  Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments
·  Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls
·  Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company's Cloud offerings.

Role Competencies

· 

·  Bachelor of Science in computer science or BA in Management Information Systems (MIS)
·  Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology, software development life cycle and methodologies, general business processes and applications.
·  3+ years previous consulting experience, especially a Big 4 consulting firms or specialty cloud consulting firms
·  Multiple AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
·  CISSP, SSCP, CISM, CGEIT, GIAC/GSEC, CIPP, CIPM, CRISC, or TOGAF certifications
·  5+ years of cybersecurity, product security and/or infrastructure engineering experience
·  Knowledgeable in the tools and techniques necessary to design automated deployments
·  Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies
·  Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies.
·  Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
·  Experience with software vulnerabilities, how CVEs are reported, and how they relate to specific system packages and remediations
·  General knowledge across several different regulations (CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI, SOX), cybersecurity standards (NIST 800 series, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Cloud Security Alliance STAR), and compliance standards (ISO 27001, HIPAA, SSAE 16 SOC2)
·  Proficient and certified in at least one enterprise cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
·  Ability to communicate ideas and proposals concisely, both verbally and written, to senior staff members
·  Hands-on security experience, with in-depth knowledge of security, scaling in the cloud, and software engineering practices
·  A strong understanding of information security standards and the ability to distill complex security problems and drive toward creative solutions
·  Strong organizational and relationship skills
