The Role: Business Process Architect
Purpose
As ENGIE Resources pursues its vision of Energy Transition, significant changes are required in the way we work and the tools we use. In order to meet the goals of this transformation, our company needs to identify opportunities to redesign our systems and processes using the latest in digital technology. The Business Process Architect plays a critical role in the success of this transformation based on the strong belief that the value of technology is limited to how it can improve business process. Our solutioning process is designed to bring technology and process thinkers together to create innovative ideas for unlocking value and affecting change in our business. We anticipate that Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will play a key role in this solutioning process. The Business Process Architect will work closely with designers, technologists, and solution architects to collaboratively design and implement complete business solutions.

Essential Job Functions

·  Analyzes and understands complex, multi-tiered business processes within all functional teams (Operations, Supply, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.)
·  Performs detailed studies of existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and to capture baseline performance before changes are made
·  Uses Lean Six Sigma concepts to performs end-to-end redesign of complex business process and incorporates input from diverse stakeholder groups
·  Incorporates Robotic Process Automation opportunities into future-state processes
·  Estimates and models potential business value from specific business process improvement activities
·  Works with project teams through all stages of project lifecycle to design, build, test, and deploy changes to business process in alignment with other elements of complete solution
·  Measures impacts of process improvements, quantifies benefits in alignment with project business cases, and reports to leadership on results
·  Creates process maps, SOPs, and training materials to ease transition to new process and maximize end user productivity and effectiveness
·  Works closely with Change Realization Lead to incorporate business process changes into change realization plan
·  Facilitates workshops with stakeholders to collaborate on process ideas and devise optimal solutions
·  Adheres to Agile practices by working in short cycles and capturing feedback from stakeholders regularly
·  Promotes Lean Six Sigma and RPA concepts throughout the organization and leads informal education sessions
·  Works closely with PMO leadership to integrate business process modeling activities into overall solution delivery methodology Other Functions

·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

Education/Experience

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
·  7-10 years of experience in business process modeling and design
·  5+ years of experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred
·  2+ years of experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) preferred
·  Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
·  Extensive experience in business process architecture best practices
·  Deep understanding of RPA technologies and practices
·  Deep expertise in common Business Process Modeling tools
·  Excellent facilitation skills with interactive workshops including 10 or more stakeholders
·  Experience communicating and advocating for Lean Six Sigma, RPA, and other relevant trends and movements
·  Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
·  Strong leadership skills and a passion for design
