PURPOSE

‎The Business Development and Strategy intern will quarterback various sales and strategy initiatives and power the BD function to excel in its areas of practice.  The ideal candidate is an out-of-the-box thinker who has the business acumen, poise, and professional confidence to work as part of our dynamic team, and openness to tackling unique projects that support our business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·  Identification of new market strategies
·  Presenting to high-level decisions makers with guidance from Manager/Business Development team members
·  Working with ENGIE’s finance department to model system economics for prospective projects
·  Work as part of a cross-functional project development team that includes project finance, operations, legal, marketing and communications to assist current go-to-market efforts
·  Assist with building sales funnel to support business objectives as identified
·  Other tasks as assigned by Manager

REQUIREMENTS

·  Strong written and oral communication skills
·  Demonstrated interest in sustainability strategies, energy efficiency, and renewable energy and passion to serve others and make a difference
·  Financial and business acumen
·  Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES

·  Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

·  Bachelors' degree
·  Currently enrolled in a MBA program

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

·  Normal Office Environment
·  Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
