Engie have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Plasterer/Multi-skilled Operative to be based at  The Sling, Dudley, DY2 9AJ. 

This is a 2 year fixed term full time role working  Monday - Friday.  On offer is a salary in line with the National Minimum Wage relevant to the age of the person

General Overview:

The successful applicants will achieve to become a fully trained Wall and Floor Tiler to the standard laid down by the C.I.T.B. and Trade Unions and achieve the National Vocational Qualification NVQ2. The apprentice tiler will be site based 4 days per week, plus 1 day per week day release at South and City College. The successful candidates will be expected to travel by their own means to other site offices and to understand, implement and adhere to Engie SHEQ requirements whilst working within a small friendly team.

This role reports into the Site Manager.

The apprentice will be involved in a range of activities from learning how to prepare surfaces for tiling to the selection and sourcing of materials. Progression through the Apprenticeship will go from learning about the basics of tiling to installing complex tiling compositions and providing support to a range of clients. Apprentices will need to be creative and have a keen eye for design and detail
