Job description

Global Energy Management (“GEM”), a business unit of the ENGIE group, is responsible for the management of the ENGIE Group's assets worldwide. The role of GEM is to ensure competitive energy supply for customers while optimizing value creation, within a consistent risk framework. The GEM teams negotiate ENGIE natural gas supply contracts, asset and energy management agreements energy purchase and sales contracts, and provides customers with natural gas and electricity, as well as energy price risk management services. GEM manages, over all time horizons, one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe, including electricity, natural gas, oil products, biomass, CO2 and environmental products, particularly through its trading activities and presence in Europe's key energy marketplaces. GEM is now developing its business in Turkey (“GEM Turkey”).

As part of its development plan in EMEA region, GEM business unit within ENGIE is looking for a Credit Risk Manager for its Trading & Origination activities in Turkey.

You will be in charge of:
·  Putting in place and review credit procedures and policies in line with GEM guidelines for AML and Credit purposes.
·  Collect documentation required by KYC/AML regulation.
·  Analyze status, level of risk and review it according to KYC procedure.
·  Analyzing existing and new counterparties based on financial statements, news monitoring, industry research and due diligence meetings, and translating this in ratings and scorings reflecting the creditworthiness of the counterparty.
·  Establishing the credit risk framework and limits for the daily position taking by the Front Office teams and close monitoring of the exposure.
·  Negotiating and maintaining master netting and collateral agreements with counterparties.
·  Recommending appropriate credit measures to mitigate the credit risk.
·  Monitoring credit risk metrics and provide management reports to internal stakeholders on a recurrent and timely basis.
·  Managing the relationship with the business functions ensuring a correct balance between commercial objectives and good credit management with respect of the applicable policies.

Qualifications :
·  Master in Finance or equivalent through experience
·  Minimum 3-5-year experience in credit risk management
Technical/Business Skills
·  Good understanding of the Energy Markets
·  Track record in corporate risk analysis (including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow trends)
·  Good report writing skills combined with the ability to explain results and findings with sound reasoning
·  Good knowledge of legal agreements including ISDA/CSA/EFET
