Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE's 24 Business Units. At the heart of the energy value chain, GEM optimizes the Group's assets portfolio including electricity, natural gas, environmental products and bulk commodities such as biomass, while developing its external commercial franchise worldwide. We provide services in supply and logistics management, asset management by leveraging on markets, risk management, market access management, and contribute to market understanding, design and efficiency.
With a staff of 1,400, offices in 11 countries and 4 trading platforms, GEM has an extended geographical coverage in Europe and Asia-Pacific and activities in more than 50 countries.

The credit risk department, part of the Risk Department, includes 3 teams: Anti-Money Laundering, Credit Risk Analysis and Reporting
As part of the Credit Analysts team, we are assessing the creditworthiness of GEM's counterparts and managing the limits accordingly. The economic environment is also key and needs also to be followed.

Your mission
·  credit assessment of counterparts
·  presentation of analysis in credit committee
·  setting up of credit limit
·  set up of the weekly economic watch
·  credit assessment of counterparts in close collaboration with the Front Office teams, Legal and the different poles of the Credit Risk department
·  presentation of requests to Credit Risk Management and to Committees
·  follow-up of credits risks of a specific portfolio (participation to monitoring and watch of customers' evolution)
·  participation in the development of customer relationship before contract signing: analysis of Front Office's need, study of the customer's profile, in order to improve knowledge of the customer
·  understanding of the risk calculation methodology
·  in charge of the weekly economic watch : follow up of economic and financial news to inform adequately the different stakeholders on news affecting our counterparts
·  interactions mainly with Front Office, Back Office, Legal and other risk functions
The mission could change together with new missions of the department

·  bac +4/5, Ecole de Commerce or university with a specialization in Finance
·  interest for financial markets and/of energy
·  good knowledge of MS Office tools
·  English & French : strong practice / fluent
·  analysing, rigourous, communicating, resilience to stress Your HR contact person
