Surveillance sensor specialist H/F

Job description

The Aviation Business Unit will help Skeyes, the Belgian ANSP, providing for technical support in deploying new surveillance sensors (Mode S radar, A-SMGCS sensors, and data fusion module).

The expert's responsibilities will be to provide technical expertise on surveillance sensors to skeye's project manager in the following areas at least:
- Assessment of suppliers' bids
- Drafting of test maps and specifications
- Conduct of FAT/SAT/SIT
- Development of test reports


The duration of the activity in Brussels is about 9 months initially, potentially extended if Egis wins the follow-up framework contract in 2021. Work is to be carried out on-site (close to Brussels airport) and is a full-time assignment.

Desired profile

5-10 years in surveillance sensor (Mode S radar, A-SMGCS) procurement and deployment, ideally complemented by some project management experience
Fluent in French or Dutch, English otherwise.
