About the Role

As the Manufacturing Consulting Associate Partner, you will work with colleagues across DXC, taking the lead role in developing and delivering digital consulting and technology enabled services to Aerospace and Defence clients.  You will help identify, shape, sell and deliver offerings that help our clients implement digital transformation and realise the associated benefits.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·  Work with the UKIIMEA Manufacturing Consulting Leader and the Manufacturing General Managers (IGM) to meet agreed sales and revenue targets
·  Work with the IGM and his sales team to engage with clients and shape opportunities drawing on DXC offerings, with consulting acting as a ‘multiplier’ creating greater value for clients.
·  Play a valued role with clients as a trusted advisor and engagement sponsor on digital transformational programmes that address client strategic imperatives.
·  Possess a strong personal network of senior client contacts within the Manufacturing industry and of experienced domain consultants.
·  Be recognized as a subject matter expert by colleagues and clients in your specialist areas, and strengthen the pool of knowledge, skill and capability of our consultants.
·  Develop thought leadership and perspectives in your specialist areas, in particular around Industry 4.0 solutions.
·  Be able to identify areas of client or market opportunity that DXC can exploit and develop offerings accordingly.
·  Help recruit and develop a team of expert A&D/Manufacturing
·   industry consultants.
·  Play an active part of the UKIIMEA Consulting leadership team leveraging your experience to help UKIIMEA Consulting meets its targets.

About You

You will have relevant experience of the Aerospace and Defence sector, either from a consulting background or from working in the industry leading large transformational strategic programmes. You will be highly credible in front of your peers in the industry and have a strong network of C and near C level contacts.

Experience:

We are looking for individuals with experience across Aerospace and Defence, with experience of leading Industry 4.0 and digitally enabled change within one or more lines of business.

Your core skills and experience will include;

·  A demonstrable track record of developing and selling profitable consulting led business solutions to UK based A&D companies.
·  Selling and leading projects to transform manufacturing operations and enterprise systems such as enterprise resource planning implementations. Will be familiar with the application of digital technologies and industry 4.0 in the A&D/Manufacturing sectors.
·  Particular expertise sought in terms of Smart Factory / Digital Twin / Digital Thread
·  Enterprise Architecture / Strategic programme shaping experience desirable
·  A strong reputation and contact network within A&D / Manufacturing.
·  The ability to take a business idea from concept to execution, secure investment and take others along with you.
·  Demonstrable strong leadership and people skills.
·  A consistent, demonstrable track record of leading or playing a part in driving strategic change in an organisation
·  Traditional consulting skills and behaviours allied with experience of digital methods, skills and ways of working.

Your track record may be from a recognised consultancy or within the industry. Regardless you will have an ambition to help sell and deliver transformational programmes to clients. You thrive on the challenges of innovation and the promise of the digital era.

·  Ability to develop a business strategy for consulting in A&D/Manufacturing, socialise to gain support within DXC and implement the strategy to achieve agreed revenue and sales targets.

·  A confident stakeholder manager, able to establish effective working relationships with client peers
·  You will be willing to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe on a regular basis
·  Educated to degree level, educational equivalent or comparable work experience and track record
