Profile:
· Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
· At least 5 years of extensive experience in mainframe applications
· Knowledgeable in mainframe infrastructure
· Related IT certifications an advantage but not required
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Flexible work schedule (on-call, night shift included)
Responsibilities:
· Strong knowledge and experience on mainframe application operations and tools administration, IMS DB2 database and working with subsystem commands like COBOL and CICS
· Ability to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve incidents and service requests including coordination with various groups
· Ability to implement and execute change requests completely and accurately as aligned
· Ability to provide RCAs for service improvements, error documentation, workaround and resolution plans
· Additional skills/competencies as required by the account
· Able to lead and co-train other Mainframe resources
· Provides comprehensive and quality support for all technical, process-related and escalation activities

· Being responsive to clients whilst following the principles and procedures of the Integrated Management System
· Identify, analyze problems and suggest improvements identified in their own area of responsibility and implementing those with a recognized business benefit

· Ensure that all of their staff understand the policies in the Integrated Management System and how it is implemented and maintained
· Maintain up-to-date documents such as procedures, work instructions, plans and manuals
Core Competency:
· Mainframe: Tools such as JCL, CA7, SAR, Connect Direct, etc.
· Infrastructure: Hardware, Network (Cloud included)
