DXC Technology is seeking a talented financial professional to support the finance integration, and finance systems integration, of newly acquired companies. This position can sit in either Richardson, TX or Tysons, VA .

This role provides a high intensity learning opportunity and exposure to DXC’s strategic direction, Operating Model, global operations, financial policies, procedures, processes, and systems. The explicit expectation is that 1-2 years successful performance in this role will prepare candidates for a wide range of financial management positions within DXC – in operational finance, financial planning/analysis, or controllership, depending on the interests of the candidate and the needs of DXC at that time.

DXC’s corporate Financial Planning and Analysis organization has a team focused on merger, acquisition, and divestiture optimization (MADO). This team supports due diligence and integration activities with a focus on finance processes/systems and financial planning/analysis functions. Controllership, and other major functions within Finance at DXC, have their own dedicated resources focused on MADO support.

Responsibilities include:

·  Participating in due diligence activities for target companies; continually refining the data requests given to target companies from which integration activities can be solutioned, scheduled, resourced, and cost estimated
·  Planning, and then project managing, the integration of acquired company financial data into DXC’s consolidated financial reporting systems, and eventually into one of DXC’s standard ERP finance systems. DXC already has a variety of standard solutions in place to accomplish this objective.
·  Planning, and then project managing, the integration of acquired companies into DXC’s budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and executive review processes and systems
·  Coordinating with subject matter experts in Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and Finance Shared Services on acquisition due diligence and integration activities
·  Coordinating with subject matter experts in Corporate Development, Sales Operations, Human Resources, Legal, and Information Technology (OCIO) on acquisition due diligence integration activities, especially those involving business processes, systems, or master data
·  Becoming, over time, a subject matter expert on DXC’s multiple finance processes and systems, and how they all fit together to enable consolidated external financial reporting and internal management reporting
·  Participating, as time permits, on non-MADO analysis projects that make use of knowledge of DXC’s finance policies, processes, systems, and master data

High priority skills and experience include: 

·  Experience in complex, high intensity project activities such as mergers and acquisitions, new business pursuits, or system deployments
·  Working knowledge of automated financial systems for a large, complex global enterprise – experience in SAP is preferred
·  Communication skills to interact effectively with target company leadership and finance staff, external advisors, and stakeholders throughout DXC
·  Proactive learning ability, strong work ethic, and a high level of personal integrity

Desirable skills, experience, or credentials include:

·  Working knowledge of project management practices and methodologies
·  MBA, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or other applicable professional designation
·  Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
·  Exposure to international business; multi-lingual and multi-cultural skills are a plus
·  Located in either the Washington DC metro area or the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area so that relocation is not needed

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Four to six or more years of related experience
·  Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility
