Essential Job Functions

·  Designs, develops, maintains or enhances one or more financial application systems; ensures financial modules are working effectively and efficiently. Analyzes and applies system upgrades and patches. Supports technical design solutions activities related to one or more financial application software, data, databases, packaged solutions and infrastructure components. Designs, tests and deploys reusable technical components for financial applications.
·  Coordinates user analysis work through data mapping, reporting and computer applications support. Influences client expectations and satisfaction with financial systems. Recommends improvements to financial application processing in support of business activities for one or more financial applications.
·  Coordinates and facilitates meetings with application clients to gather requirements and explore potential technical solutions. Recommends approaches, solutions, methods and packages in relation to requirements and needs.
·  Coordinates and conducts system unit and integration testing and coordinates user acceptance testing. Identifies and, as appropriate, coordinates and/or rectifies testing issues and bugs.
·  Works with software packages and the respective vendors. Provides input into developing and modifying financial applications to meet client needs. Participates in technical reviews, providing advice and counsel regarding solutions, software, systems, etc.
·  Plans, allocates and monitors work of others on the team. Provides time estimates for project related tasks. Creates, schedules, and monitors information interfaces between financial systems and other core systems. Documents work results of self and others.
·  Creates scripts and routines to coordinate the adding, inserting and deleting of data as requested by customers within software packages. Coordinates requests for data changes in the system. Works with users to ensure data integrity.
·  Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
·  Provides advice and counsel as application or financial system expert. Reponds to requests or identifies on own to create, develop or revise solutions and current system features, functions, coding, modules, etc.

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, or related field preferred
·  Nine or more years of financial information technology experience
·  Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
·  Experience working with software and software testing methodologies including financial application software packages and software lifecycle development
·  Experience working with computer programming concepts and coding languages
·  Experience working with analysis and design including modeling and reporting tools and the interface of information technology and functional groups
